Full Version Of ‘Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising’ Due By End Of June

First there were RPGs, then came MMORPGs and MOS format has become standard in all online role playing games. ‘Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising’ doesn’t offer particularly impressive graphics, and the storyline is simplistic enough, but users have responded incredibly well during the game’s beta testing mode. It seems that online players are more concerned about being able to chat with their friends in real time than they are about playing the most advanced games.

‘Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising’ comes on the heels of the success of ‘Spartacus: Blood and Sand,’ which is a gory television show based in ancient times. Players are able to navigate through ancient Rome, challenging other players that are logged in. What is impressive is the fact that users can pretty much make their characters look like whatever they want. Of course, the costume selections are somewhat limited, being that the game is based in ancient Rome and all.

As players continue conquering their opponents, they will gain both prestige and skill. All fights take place in an arena type setting. Sometimes gamers are able to take part in grueling multi-player duels, complete with weapons and special attacks. During the remainder of the game, players are permitted to aimlessly wander around and go site seeing. Although the backgrounds are good looking, this is probably the most boring element of ‘Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising.’ Overall, ‘Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising’ is good for online gaming fans, but it is not nearly as exciting as other MOS titles that are available.
